I love working with all stones, but I am especially fond of the native North American Lake Superior Agates. When doing the wire wrapping, I study the stones, making decisions about how to highlight points of interest. Some of the stones are machine polished, but some stones are so exciting in their natural state, that they must be served up with just a wax buffing, or many times, with no enhancement at all. I also love the shiny copper, knowing that it will age beautifully or can be kept shiny with a bit of lemon oil. ---Mary
